Moong dal chilka is the whole split mung bean, including the husks. It is cooked and eaten in the same manner as any other lentils. Full of wholesome protein and fibre.
how to cook:
Moong dal chilka is cooked in exactly the same way as lentils. Boil for 15-25 minutes in a pan of boiling water. You can add spices for an authentic Indian meal. Alternatively, you can add these lentils to soup to make lentil soup.
